Lintukoto

Literally: "bird home" — from lintu ("bird") + koto ("home").

1. A mythical refuge at the edge of the world, where earth and sky meet. In Finnish folklore, Lintukoto was imagined as a paradise-like place where birds migrated for winter, beyond the familiar world and beneath the edge of the sky.
2. Figurative. A safe, peaceful and happy place; a sanctuary, haven or little paradise.

For us, Lintukoto is a place to explore what it means to be human in a world becoming increasingly technological.

A place shaped by sound, art, nature, movement, creativity, ritual, rest, play and each other.

Not an escape from the world, but a return to what matters within it.

We are interested in the possibilities of the future, but equally in the things progress should never optimise away: presence, connection, curiosity, wonder, embodiment and the feeling of truly being alive.
